FoEME Mourns the Tragic Passing of Former GWN Coordinator Efrat Gamliel

On Sunday, March 7 a terrible car accident killed former FoEME staff member Efrat Gamliel, her two very young children and mother. Efrat was the first Israeli project coordinator for the Good Water Neighbors project from 2001 to 2003. She played an instrumental role in creating the framework for the success of the project.

Efrat will be remembered for her humanity – a person that gave all – 110% effort but always with a smile and sense of humor. A very beautiful smile that warmed the heart.

The FoEME family will remember in our future work our debt due to Efrat.

  1. I wish her family and other mourners a long life and a good life. May God comfort them among all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

  2. I am a recent follower of the work of FOEME and the Good Water Neighbours program. Although I never knew the Gamliel-Atinsky’s I still wish to express my deep sorrow and shock in the face of this tragic accident and Bryan Atinsky’s loss. My sincere condolences to the Gamliel’s and the Atinsky’s.
